2018 Fall Season Registration

Welcome to 2018 Fall Season Registration!

Our Fall Ball season provides quality, structured environment for baseball through the fall months. This is an instructional league. The goal is to improve each player's skills for the following season, and have fun doing it!

WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO PLAY?

MAALL's Fall Ball Team(s) are for boys & girls between the ages of 8-14 who reside or go to school in the Morristown & Morris Township area.

 

AGE GROUPS

This year MAALL will participate in the Extra Innings Fall Ball Baseball League. MAALL is looking to participate in teams at the following age groups (dependent on registration numbers):

9U Team: made up of 8 & 9 year olds (With A larger registration numbers we may be able to have 2 teams, one  8 year old team and one 9 year old team)

 

11U Team  (played on a 40/60 field) : made up of 10 and 11 year olds

 

12U Team  (played on a 50/70 field) : made up of 11 & 12 year olds (With larger registration numbers we may be able to have 2 teams, one  11 year old team and one 12 year old team)

 

14U Team  (played on a 60/90 field) made up of 13 & 14 year olds

 

Use the same baseball age as for you did for the 2018 spring season; use the baseball age chart in the registration to determine your child’s baseball age.

 

SEASON - GAMES & PRACTICES

The Fall Ball season typically runs from Beginning of September through the end of October.  Practices are usually held during the week and typically games (double headers) are played on Saturdays. This year the Season will run September 12th through October 25th and includes an 8 - 10 game schedule.

 

COST

The cost will be $100.00 per child: to cover uniforms, umpires, equipment, etc.

 

VOLUNTEERING

We need your help!! Families are asked to volunteer for Fall Ball jobs such as snack stand, announcer booth and field preparation work (as needed) to help the season run smoothly. 

 

WHAT IS THE REFUND POLICY?

Understanding that unusual circumstances may result in a player needing to withdraw their registration for the Fall Ball Baseball season, the following refund policy has been established: 

 

Withdrawals prior to official team announcements and prior to games beginning: 

$75.00 refund of registration fee.

 

After teams begin play (games): 

There will be no refund of registration fees.  

 

Injury during season (games started):

$50.00 refund of registration fee

We will certainly review specific cases should there be a result in which a player will not be able to continue the season.
